What is a MM?

The kind soft eye of the Marchador

Are you looking for that child-safe mount?  Or how about a husband horse?  Not ready to give up riding your performance sport, but ready to give up your problem horse?  Come meet the Mangalarga Marchador!

The Marchador (MARSCH A DOOR) horse is all those things because of its willing nature, smooth gaits and athletic versatility.  Bred for centuries to be sound and square, with good bones, you can be part of beginning the new traditions here.   Oh, and the added benefit?  They have that Iberian beauty and soft, kind  eye.  You know you have a good horse the minute you lay eyes on one!

The USMMA is affiliated with and recognized by the Associacao Brasileira dos Criadores do Cavalo Mangalarga Marchador (ABCCMM), the Brazilian organization founded to preserve, regulate and register the unique bloodlines of this magnificent breed.

In Brazil, Mangalarga Marchadors must pass rigid standards for conformation, gait, performance and endurance. The Mangalarga Marchador is their National Horse, a national treasure.

In many instances, the North American Marchador horses maintain dual registry with the ABCCMM in Brazil.
